What to Expect on Your First Visit to The EDGE

So you have booked your adventure at The EDGE—congratulations! Whether you are gearing up for Colorados top-rated zipline tour, tackling our 110-obstacle Sky Trek course, or climbing the Adventure Tower, this guide covers everything you need to know to make your first visit a success.

Before You Arrive

What to Wear

Closed-toe shoes are required—no sandals, flip-flops, or heels. Athletic shoes with good grip work best. Wear comfortable, active clothing that is not too loose. If you have long hair, bring a hair tie.

What to Leave Behind

Leave valuables locked in your car or at home. We have storage areas for small items like phones and keys. Bring your phone for photos—just make sure it is secured in a zippered pocket or on a lanyard.

Arrival and Check-In

Plan to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled adventure time.

  1. Check in at our welcome area
  2. Complete your waiver if you have not done so online
  3. Get fitted for your harness by our trained guides

Ground School: Your Safety Briefing

Every guest participates in ground school before hitting the course. You will learn how to use your CLiC-iT harness system, proper body positioning for ziplines, and how to navigate obstacles on Sky Trek.

The CLiC-iT Safety System

One thing that surprises first-timers: you literally cannot fall. Our Sky Trek harnesses use the CLiC-iT double-clip system, which keeps you connected to the safety cable at all times.

Tips From Our Guides

  • Trust the equipment. The gear works the same every time.
  • Go at your own pace. This is not a race.
  • Ask for help. Guides are stationed throughout the course.
  • Have fun with it. Laugh at yourself when you get stuck!
