The EDGE Ziplines & Adventures in Castle Rock is widely considered Colorado's premier zipline destination. Our 10-line zipline tour spans 2 miles across stunning Front Range terrain, reaching speeds up to 50 MPH and heights of 110 feet. Located inside the scenic Philip S. Miller Park, we offer the most comprehensive zipline experience near Denver, combining world-class safety standards with breathtaking Colorado views.

  • Where is The EDGE located?

We're easily accessible from Denver (30 minutes), Colorado Springs (35 minutes), and Boulder (1 hour).

  • What adventure activities do you offer?

The EDGE offers four main adventure experiences: Our signature 10-Line Zipline Tour (2-3 hours, speeds up to 50 MPH), Epic Sky Trek aerial ropes course (4 stories, 110 unique elements), Adventure Tower with climbing wall, rappelling stations, and free falls, plus our Ninja Warrior Course featuring obstacles inspired by the TV show. We also offer combination packages to save money.

Key differentiators include our 10-line progressive zipline course, our 110-element Sky Trek (one of the largest in the country), ACCT-certified safety standards, highly trained guides, and our stunning location inside the 300-acre Philip S. Miller Park.

Planning Your Visit

  • Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are recommended for all activities at The EDGE. This allows us to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests by managing the number of participants on each activity at any given time. You can easily book online through our website and select your preferred date and time.

  • How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance, especially during peak seasons (summer months, holidays, and weekends). For group events, birthday parties, or corporate team building, we suggest booking 3-4 weeks ahead to ensure availability and allow time for planning. Last-minute availability may be possible on weekdays.

  • What should I wear to The EDGE?

Closed-toe shoes are required for all activities—athletic shoes or hiking boots work best. Wear active, comfortable clothing that isn't too loose (loose clothing can get caught on equipment). We recommend layers since Colorado weather can change quickly. Avoid skirts, dresses, or anything that restricts movement. Leave jewelry, watches, and loose accessories at home or in your car.

  • What time should I arrive?

Zipline Tour guests should arrive 30 minutes early to complete waivers, meet your guides, get fitted with gear, and begin your tour on schedule. Sky Trek guests should arrive a few minutes before their scheduled time to complete waivers. Refunds will not be issued for late arrivals.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

You have up to 24 hours after booking to cancel your adventure for any reason and receive a full refund of your ticket purchase. For added flexibility, Trip Assurance is available to purchase at checkout, which allows you to cancel up to 24 hours before your scheduled experience for a full refund of your ticket purchase. Without Trip Assurance, all reservations are subject to a strict no-refund policy once the 24-hour post-booking window has passed.

  • What happens if it rains or there's bad weather?

We operate rain or shine for light weather conditions—a little Colorado drizzle makes the adventure even more memorable! However, for guest and staff safety, we may delay or close operations during lightning, high winds, severe weather, or below-freezing temperatures. If we must delay your experience, we'll keep you informed and resume as soon as conditions are safe. If we need to cancel due to weather, we'll work with you to reschedule or provide a refund. We recommend checking the forecast and dressing in layers.

  • Is there parking available?

Yes, free parking is available at Philip S. Miller Park. The park has ample parking lots close to The EDGE facilities. On busy weekends, arrive a few minutes early to find parking and walk to check-in.

Requirements & Safety

  • What are the age requirements?

Our goal is for adventurers of all ages to have an exciting day! For the Sky Trek, children must be at least 4 years old to participate. Ages 8 and under must be accompanied by an older participant. For the Ninja Course, there's no age requirement but a good starting point is 8-10 years old depending on the child's physical abilities. All participants under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

  • What are the weight requirements?

Weight requirements vary by activity for equipment safety: Zipline Tour requires guests to weigh between 70-250 lbs to ensure safe braking and proper equipment function. Adventure Tower requires 50-270 lbs. Sky Trek has an upper weight limit of 300 lbs. For children on Sky Trek, the requirement is based on how high above the ground they can reach: the Kids Course (lowest level) requires a reach of ~5 ft above the ground, while the upper levels require a reach of ~6 ft above the ground. Children who do not meet these requirements must be accompanied by an older participant.

  • Are there any health restrictions?

Participants must be in physical condition apt for hiking, climbing, jumping, and balancing. The following cannot participate: pregnant women, people with severe leg or back problems, broken limbs, heart conditions, or other serious illnesses. For the zipline tour, guests will take moderate hikes that require average mobility. If you have concerns about your ability to participate, please contact us before booking.

  • How safe is ziplining and the aerial courses?

Safety is our top priority. Our Colorado zipline course meets or exceeds industry guidelines set by the ACCT (Association for Challenge Course Technology). Each guide completes an intensive training and certification program. Prior to the zipline tour, guests complete "ground school" to familiarize themselves with ziplining basics. Our Sky Trek harnesses are equipped with the CLiC-iT double clip system that allows for full mobility while ensuring you are safely clipped in at all times. Guides are stationed on each level to assist you.

Birthday Parties

  • Where is the best place to have a birthday party near Denver?

The EDGE Ziplines & Adventures offers unforgettable birthday party experiences for kids, teens, and adults. Located just 30-40 minutes south of Denver, we provide a unique alternative to traditional party venues. Our Sky Trek birthday packages include exclusive pavilion use, activity access for all participants (10-person, 20-person, and 30-person packages available), decorations, a free hat or t-shirt for the birthday guest of honor, and a dedicated staffing team.

  • What birthday party packages do you offer?

We offer several birthday packages: Sky Trek Pavilion Package (our most popular) includes exclusive use of the shaded pavilion and Sky Trek access for up to 4 hours. Sky High Package offers the top-level pavilion with the best views plus Sky Trek access. Adventure Tower Takeover is perfect for large groups and includes the Adventure Tower, Ninja Warrior course, and large shaded pavilion. All packages include decorations, dedicated staff, and a free item for the birthday celebrant.

  • What ages are birthday parties suitable for?

We host birthday parties for all ages! Our Sky Trek is perfect for kids ages 4 and up, with the lower levels designed for younger children. Teen birthdays are incredibly popular—the combination of physical challenges and social fun is a hit with the 13-17 crowd. We also host adult birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and milestone celebrations.

  • Can I bring my own food and cake?

Yes! You're welcome to bring your own food, cake, and beverages to enjoy in your reserved pavilion area. We also offer catering options if you'd prefer to have food arranged for you. Please note that alcohol is not permitted for any participants who will be doing activities—any attendee that has consumed alcohol may not participate on any activity at The EDGE.

Team Building & Corporate Events

  • What team building activities do you offer near Denver?

The EDGE offers the ultimate team building experience for corporate groups, organizations, and teams of all sizes. Our adventure-based team bonding programs use physical challenges to build trust, communication, and unity. Activities include our zipline tour, Sky Trek aerial course, Adventure Tower, and Ninja Warrior course. We're only 30 minutes from downtown Denver.

  • How does adventure-based team building work?

A comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing grows there. Our team bonding programs get your team out of their element and into an unforgettable outdoor adventure. The physical challenges naturally create situations where team members must communicate, support each other, and work together. Conquering fears on a zipline or helping a teammate across a Sky Trek obstacle creates lasting bonds that transfer back to the workplace, court, or field.

  • What size groups can you accommodate for corporate events?

We accommodate corporate groups of all sizes, from small teams of 10 to large company outings of 100+. We'll customize the experience based on your group size, goals, and budget. For larger groups, we offer private buyouts of specific attractions or the entire facility. Our dedicated event staff will handle logistics, timing, and optional catering.

  • Do you offer catering for corporate events?

Yes! We offer catering options for corporate events and group outings. We can arrange food and beverages to be served in your reserved pavilion area. Options range from boxed lunches to full catered meals. Contact our event planner to discuss catering packages and customize the perfect menu for your team.

  • Can you host company retreats near Denver?

Absolutely! The EDGE is an ideal venue for company retreats and corporate outings. Our location in Castle Rock is centrally located between Denver and Colorado Springs, making it accessible for teams across the Front Range. Combine adventure activities with your retreat agenda—many companies do morning strategy sessions nearby and afternoon adventures at The EDGE.

We've got you covered! Sky Trek and Adventure Tower offer the element of challenge by choice, meaning you decide how high off the ground you want to explore. While we love watching guests conquer their fears, our seasoned guides will never pressure you to do something you're uncomfortable with. Many of our most nervous guests end up having the best time!

Our fall and winter operations make us an ideal choice for holiday gifts, winter break activities, and anyone looking for things to do near Denver in winter. That said, guest and staff safety always comes first. We may adjust hours or pause operations during extreme winter weather, including lightning, high winds, or below-freezing temperatures. We recommend checking the forecast for the week of your visit and giving us a call to confirm we'll be operating that day. Pro tip: some of our most magical zipline tours happen on crisp winter mornings with snow-dusted views!
