Planning Your Visit
-
Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are recommended for all activities at The EDGE. This allows us to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests by managing the number of participants on each activity at any given time. You can easily book online through our website and select your preferred date and time.
-
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance, especially during peak seasons (summer months, holidays, and weekends). For group events, birthday parties, or corporate team building, we suggest booking 3-4 weeks ahead to ensure availability and allow time for planning. Last-minute availability may be possible on weekdays.
-
What should I wear to The EDGE?
Closed-toe shoes are required for all activities—athletic shoes or hiking boots work best. Wear active, comfortable clothing that isn't too loose (loose clothing can get caught on equipment). We recommend layers since Colorado weather can change quickly. Avoid skirts, dresses, or anything that restricts movement. Leave jewelry, watches, and loose accessories at home or in your car.
-
What time should I arrive?
Zipline Tour guests should arrive 30 minutes early to complete waivers, meet your guides, get fitted with gear, and begin your tour on schedule. Sky Trek guests should arrive a few minutes before their scheduled time to complete waivers. Refunds will not be issued for late arrivals.
-
What is your cancellation policy?
You have up to 24 hours after booking to cancel your adventure for any reason and receive a full refund. For added flexibility, Trip Assurance is available to purchase at checkout, which allows you to cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a refund of your base ticket purchase. All reservations are under the terms of a strict no-refund policy once the booking has processed.
-
What happens if it rains or there's bad weather?
We operate rain or shine for light weather conditions—a little Colorado drizzle makes the adventure even more memorable! However, for guest and staff safety, we close during lightning, high winds, and severe weather. If we must cancel due to weather, we'll work with you to reschedule or provide a refund. We recommend checking the forecast and dressing in layers.
-
Is there parking available?
Yes, free parking is available at Philip S. Miller Park. The park has ample parking lots close to The EDGE facilities. On busy weekends, arrive a few minutes early to find parking and walk to check-in.
Requirements & Safety
-
What are the age requirements?
Our goal is for adventurers of all ages to have an exciting day! For the Sky Trek, children must be at least 4 years old to participate. Ages 8 and under must be accompanied by an older participant. For the Ninja Course, there's no age requirement but a good starting point is 8-10 years old depending on the child's physical abilities. All participants under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
-
What are the weight requirements?
Weight requirements vary by activity for equipment safety: Zipline Tour requires guests to weigh between 70-250 lbs to ensure safe braking and proper equipment function. Adventure Tower also requires 50 -270 lbs. Sky Trek has an upper weight limit of 300lbs. For children, it is about how high above the ground they can reach: Kids Course (lowest level) requires a reach of ~5 ft above the ground, while upper levels require a reach of ~6 ft above the ground.
-
Are there any health restrictions?
Participants must be in physical condition apt for hiking, climbing, jumping, and balancing. The following cannot participate: pregnant women, people with severe leg or back problems, broken limbs, heart conditions, or other serious illnesses. For the zipline tour, guests will take moderate hikes that require average mobility. If you have concerns about your ability to participate, please contact us before booking.
-
How safe is ziplining and the aerial courses?
Safety is our top priority. Our Colorado zipline course meets or exceeds industry guidelines set by the ACCT (Association for Challenge Course Technology). Each guide completes an intensive training and certification program. Prior to the zipline tour, guests complete "ground school" to familiarize themselves with ziplining basics. Our Sky Trek harnesses are equipped with the CLiC-iT double clip system that allows for full mobility while ensuring you are safely clipped in at all times. Guides are stationed on each level to assist you.
