Three Ways to Do It

Fun Day Out. Facilitated Challenges. Or Both.

Some teams need to laugh together. Some need to solve something together. Most retreats do both — you choose the mix, we run the day.

Team Bonding

The Fun Day Out

Out of the office, up in the air

No agenda, no flip charts — just your team racing side-by-side on ziplines, cheering each other across the Sky Trek and swapping stories at the pavilion afterwards. Sometimes the strongest team building is simply a great day together.

  • Ziplines, Sky Trek, Adventure Tower & Ninja Course
  • Everyone picks their own thrill level
  • Reserved group areas & catering options

Best for: Morale boosts, celebrations, department outings

Ground-Level Challenges

Classic team building, expertly led

Classic facilitated team building challenges on solid ground, led by our events team. Problem-solving and communication games that need every voice at the table — no harness, no height, no one on the sidelines.

  • Led by experienced facilitators
  • Inclusive — every ability participates
  • Debriefs that connect the game to the workplace

Best for: Leadership offsites, new teams, communication goals

The Best of Both

Challenges in the morning, adventure all afternoon

Start with facilitated ground-level challenges while the group is fresh, break for lunch at the pavilion, then turn the team loose on the courses. One venue, one coordinator, a full corporate retreat day.

  • Facilitated session + open adventure time
  • Pavilion, lunch break & full-day coordination
  • The structure of a retreat, the energy of a park

Best for: Annual retreats, company milestone days, offsites

Colorado's Outdoor Venue

Denver's Outdoor Team Building & Corporate Retreat Destination

The EDGE hosts corporate team building events, company outings, leadership offsites and full corporate retreats at Philip S. Miller Park in Castle Rock — an easy drive for teams from Denver, Colorado Springs and Boulder, with 10 ziplines, a 110-obstacle aerial course and dedicated space for facilitated ground-level programs.

Trade the conference room for the Front Range: outdoor team building is what teams actually look forward to, and an award-winning park handles the rest — pavilions, catering coordination and one event coordinator from first call to final headcount.

On the Ground

Facilitated Team Building Challenges

The classics work because they put the whole team inside one problem. Our facilitators run ground-level challenges where the only way through is communicating, dividing the work and trusting the plan — then debrief what just happened and where it shows up back at the office.

Everything happens on level ground with no harness and no height, so every team member participates fully — and it pairs perfectly with an afternoon on the courses for teams that want both.

Corporate Event FAQ

What team building activities do you offer near Denver?

Two kinds, or a combination: adventure activities — the 10-line zipline tour, EPIC Sky Trek aerial course, Adventure Tower and Ninja Course — and classic facilitated ground-level team building challenges led by our events team. Most corporate retreats combine a facilitated session with open time on the courses.

How far is The EDGE from Denver and Colorado Springs?

We are in Castle Rock, Colorado — 30 minutes from Denver and 30 minutes from Colorado Springs, with bus parking on site.

How big can a corporate group be?

Corporate packages start at 10 participants and we host groups of 200 or more. Larger groups rotate between activities on a schedule your event coordinator builds with you.

Do you offer facilitated team building, or just the activities?

Both. Facilitated ground-level team building challenges — problem-solving and communication games run by our events team — are available on their own or as an add-on to any corporate package.

Can we hold a meeting or bring catering?

Yes. Pavilions, covered outdoor areas and indoor meeting space are available, and we can coordinate catering with local partners or you can bring your own food.

Can you host a full company retreat, not just an activity?

Yes — most corporate groups book a full retreat day: facilitated ground-level challenges in the morning, catered lunch at a reserved pavilion, open time on the ziplines and aerial courses in the afternoon, and a group photo to finish. One coordinator runs the whole schedule.

How far in advance should we book a company outing?

We recommend reaching out 3–4 weeks ahead, and earlier for spring and summer dates or groups over 50. We reply to inquiries within 24 hours on business days, usually with a custom proposal.
